Boo! Hello everyone. Who’s ready for Fall? The season of carving pumpkins, trick-or-treat, cozy campfires, pumpkin spice lattes, leaf raking and star gazing. The month of October kicks off the season with excitement. It’s the time of year when you feel a change coming. The weather gets chilly, the air smells crisp and nature starts showing her true colors in the leafy trees. A survey by People Magazine a few years ago said that more than half of Americans are happiest in Fall. So that begs the question, what’s your favorite season?
The color orange is associated with Fall more than any other season (pumpkins, leaves, sunsets). So to celebrate the season, we’re sharing some floral inspiration featuring hues of orange. Orange flowers pair well with buttery yellows and soft greens but also look stunning with burgundy or magenta. We’ve pulled some images from the archives as examples of these pretty pairings. In the events featured below, you’ll find popular orange flowers including roses, ranunculus, marigolds, alstroemeria, calla lilies and dahlias. With unique shapes and textures, each variety adds a different style to the arrangement. Whether soft or bold, the orange flowers hold their own and show off their beauty.
We hope you enjoy the colorful Fall season ahead!
As always, special thanks to our partners who made the above designs possible!
