The month of November is typically associated with the harvest season. One of America's favorite holidays, Thanksgiving, was originally designated as a day of giving thanks for the blessing of the harvest and all the good things that came from the preceding year. Living in Northern California, we may not have a traditional harvest season that other parts of the country experience, but we do have the all-important harvest season of grapes in our famous Napa Valley growing regions. As such, this blog entry is all about the inspiration that stems from wine country and all the bountiful crops the region has to offer.
Along with a team of wedding professionals, we transformed a few spaces at the St. Regis San Francisco into our very own wine country harvest celebration. From the rich fall colors to the rustic loaves of bread and fruits of the season, we wanted to evoke the essence of harvest with our very own California twist. And since we do love wine country weddings, we couldn't help but include a few wedding details - a delectable naked cake, rustic bouquet and yes, even a recently wed couple! We hope you enjoy the abundance of the season. Sending our best wishes to you and yours for a Happy Thanksgiving.
